The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) announced the availability of grant funding for recycling and household hazardous waste (HHW) collection and disposal from the agency鈥檚 Community Recycling Grant Program (CRGP).
鈥淭hrough the Community Recycling Grant Program, we are empowering local governments, schools, and organizations to expand recycling, reduce waste, and promote environmental stewardship,” said IDEM Commissioner Clint Woods. “These grants are an investment in innovative solutions that help protect our environment and improve quality of life for Hoosiers across the state.鈥�
Indiana counties, municipalities, solid waste management districts, universities, schools, and nonprofit organizations are eligible to submit a CRGP application requesting $1,000鈥�$100,000 in funding. The CRGP is accepting applications from May 18 through June 26, 2026.
